Nashville Engagement Session
I originally met Brett in 2008 in Richmond, VA when we were teenagers. Now I’m getting to take his engagement photos here in Nashville, TN. We both found ourselves at the same summer intensive studying ballet for five weeks. When I met Mollie, I learned that we’re both originally from North Carolina. She even has a sister who teaches dance at my old high school. YES, it’s truly a small world!!!
One of the most unique things about Mollie and Brett’s relationship is that they are both ballet dancers at Nashville Ballet. This means that they are not only partners in life, but partners in the dance studio as well. They danced together for many years before Brett developed the courage to ask her out on an official date. Their story becomes even more romantic when you throw in the fact that they were dancing the leading roles in Romeo & Juliet just as they were beginning to fall in love.
When you spend time with Mollie and Brett, the love and admiration they have for each other is undeniable. Brett doesn’t allow a day to go by without giving Mollie lots of compliments. He’s constantly telling her just how beautiful and perfect she is. The two of them got engaged over the Christmas holiday during a romantic trip in the mountains. I was so excited when they asked me to do an engagement session for them.
I love working with my couples to choose a location that truly matches their vibe and started texting them ideas. After a bit of brainstorming, we decided to go with Natchez Trace Parkway Bridge in Nashville, Tennessee. The drive there is beautiful and the views at the bridge are absolutely breathtaking. I had the best time with Mollie and Brett and know that their wedding next June at L&L Farm in Cedar Hill is going to be beautiful!
