A Dreamy Long Hunter State Park Fall Engagement Session
Long Hunter State Park is one of the most beautiful Nashville locations for a fall engagement session. This day proved exactly why. Even though it ended up being a cloudy afternoon, the soft, diffused light worked in our favor. These Long Hunter State Park engagement photos highlight the park’s mix of lakeside views, wooded trails, and textured rock formations. Each area offered its own unique look.
Meet McKenna and Tyler
McKenna and Tyler were such a joy to photograph. They were referred to me by another Tennessee couple, which always feels like the highest compliment. Couchville Trail held special meaning for them because it was the spot of their first date. Tyler had planned to propose there as well, but torrential rain and tornado warnings forced him to change his plans. For the session, McKenna wore a simple white dress that stood out beautifully against the warm fall colors throughout the park.
Why Long Hunter State Park Is Perfect for Engagement Photos
If you’re planning engagement photos in Nashville, Long Hunter State Park offers a mix of natural elements you can’t find anywhere else. The serene water, open skies, and peaceful forested paths create endless opportunities for beautiful, timeless images. It’s one of my favorite locations for couples who want something a little adventurous and incredibly scenic.
