NS Dance Academy 2025 Dance Photo Session at The Parthenon

I love helping my clients feel confident in front of the camera. You don't need to be a model to look amazing in your photos. You just need the right guidance.

Meet Lydia!

NS Dance Academy has invited me to capture their photo session every year since the studio opened. We always choose a beautiful outdoor location and schedule the session in early August, when the season kicks off. In previous years, we’ve photographed at the War Memorial Auditorium in Downtown Nashville and The Park at Harlinsdale Farm in Franklin, TN. For 2025, we met at The Parthenon in Nashville, TN. Sessions always begin early in the morning to take advantage of soft, natural light.

The session started with group photos of each class. Students first posed in their NS Dance Academy t-shirts and jeans, then switched into their class leotards. Each age group is assigned a different color leotard to make it easy to differentiate between classes. After every class had their photos taken, everyone gathered for a full group photo.

This year also marked the first season for NS Dance Academy’s Day Program. Each of these students had an individual portrait taken as well. All photos from the session are used for promotional purposes: the full-school group photo always appears on the homepage of the NS Dance Academy website, while the remaining images are shared across the website and social media.
